Ben was an amazing guy!
Ben was an amazing guy! Just get a bit more mixed music, then all those old love songs, and it would be perfect For the price it was straight out fantastic. Very basic, but clean, nice and a great atmosphere. The food is amazing, with very fair prices. I cannot recommend you enough to stay here. A bit out of the way, but it's not a problem.

The staff are wonderful.
The staff are wonderful. They’re very helpful in helping arrange tours, tricycles, advising on things to do, etc but also very friendly and down to earth. The atmosphere is great, nice and chilled out but can also have a few drinks in the evening. The food is amazing! Having dinner together each evening felt like we were a little family. My friend and I are vegan and Ben and Lani were happy to make us vegan food each night - the best we’ve had in the Philippines.
We loved it but as you are essentially camping in the jungle it won’t be suited to everyone. It’s a little out of town but means you’re away from the noise and pollution - it is a 30 minute walk into town or a short trike ride.

Definitely it’s a good place for bagpackers.
Great place for bag packers. People are friendly. Very good value. Best part of the day is, everybody is having dinner together with same food; chatting with music to chill out by the end of the day.
Far from main town, there will be extra cost for the return transportation. But u have saved a lot on living cost. So it’s kind of balanced. The only thing annoyed me is, for my first 2 nights, there r mouse running around the ceiling frame with touchable distance. I do understand it’s a jungle life, but still not really able to live together with mouse

Best Hostel in Coron
ECOCIO IS AMAZING! The best thing of this hostel is its warm and friendly atmosphere. The owners and staff are so close and helpful that they make you feel surrounded by your own family. Moreover, the food is delicious and I would dare to say that it is the best thing I have ever tried! If you are looking for a place full of good vibes and good people, this place is for you! We stayed on the tents for three nights and they were so comfy, even better than most of the "traditional" hostels I've been to. Therefore, I highly recommend it even though you are not comfortable with camping. Thanks for making the best out of my stay in Coron! It wouldn't have been the same without the Ecocio family :)
